Akhil Lokhande (Akshay Kumar) is an underdog and a failure, comes to know that his real father is a rich diamond merchant who has just passed away. When he goes to retrieve his wealth, he learns that a dog has inherited it.
Akhil tries to find a way to get the inheritance from the dog, named Entertainment. He tries to bribe the dog's caretaker, but the caretaker refuses. Akhil then tries to steal the inheritance, but he is caught by the caretaker.
Akhil is eventually able to get the inheritance, but only after he befriends the dog. Akhil and Entertainment team up to save the dog's caretaker from a group of criminals. In the end, Akhil learns the true meaning of friendship and family.
